What are Heirloom Portraits?

Heirloom Portraits are thoughtfully crafted photographs inspired by traditional children’s portraiture.   Soft white vignetting and subtle hand editing give every portrait a gentle vintage feel, while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.  Every detail is considered, from expression and composition, to the final artwork itself.

These portraits are created with longevity in mind- designed to be displayed in your home and become part of your family’s visual legacy, long after childhood has passed.

For nearly 15 years I have specialized in photographing children with a focus on authenticity and timeless style.  This experience allows me to create portraits that feel natural and enduring, with relevance not just for today, but for generations.

1. INQUIRY
Fill out the form to begin your experience. I’ll send you a detailed guide with everything you need to know about the process, artwork options, and planning your session.

2. CONSULTATION
A phone or video conversation to learn about your child and your vision, and to plan a session tailored to your family.

3. PORTRAIT SESSION
Takes place in my studio or in the comfort of your home. Each session is calm, and guided, allowing your child’s personality to emerge naturally – no stiff posing or forced expressions.

4. IMAGE REVEAL & ORDERING
After the session, you’ll view your curated portraits and select the artwork that best reflects your family and style.

5. ARTWORK DELIVERY
Your portraits are transformed into beautiful, heirloom-quality artwork and delivered to your home.

HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS

Booking Fee: $690
Includes your session and a $500 credit toward your chosen artwork.

Additional Sibling: $100 each

Artwork selections are made at the Image Reveal & Ordering appointment.  

Each printed portrait comes with a matching digital image.

All fees and artwork prices are subject to HST.
